2016 Virtual Grad Fair will connect students with schools of social work around the nation

Around 50 schools will participate in NASW event on Nov. 9, 2016

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is holding its first Virtual Grad Fair on November 9, 2016, from noon to 4 p.m. EST, that will connect prospective social work graduate students with admissions recruiters from college and university social work graduate programs.

“NASW determined there was a demand for a Virtual Grad Fair after we held two successful Virtual Career Fairs,” said Raffaele Vitelli, NASW’s Director of Professional Development. “This event will virtually connect prospective social work graduate students with premiere schools of social work across the country without the cost of travel. It will also provide an excellent resource for social work academia.”

Graduate schools and students can chat with each other during the Grad Fair using Skype or instant messaging.

Prospective students can apply and submit their student resumes and applications during or after the event by creating an account. Admissions recruiters can have up to three recruiters man their school’s virtual booth during the Grad Fair and can review applications during and after the Grad Fair.

The event is open to NASW members and non-members. Students can register for free. For more information go to http://bit.ly/2cVh7Db.
