“NIH Plan for Social Work Research” Available Online

The Senate Appropriations Committee Report on the FY03 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Appropriations bill included the following instructions: “ The Committee urges NIH to develop and coordinate a social work research plan outlining research priorities and a social work research agenda for the next five years, along with professional judgment funding projections, across NIH Institutes and Centers to be reported to Congress by March 1, 2003.” This report is now available to the public through the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR), which is part of NIH.
