Implementing the Affordable Care Act in the Post-Election Era: Implications for Social Workers Wednesday, November 28, 2012
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET
Credit Hours: 1 CEU(s)
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (the "ACA") holds the promise of expanding health insurance coverage, improving the health delivery system, and reducing health care costs. But two years after passage of the law, full implementation of the ACA faces stiff resistance in many states. This presentation will update social workers on the status of the ACA implementation following the Presidential election and discuss implications for social work practice.
This presentation has been approved for on contact hour of general social work continuing education credit.
