This Webinar will provide participants with an overview of ethical, malpractice, and risk-management issues encountered in the delivery of services to minors and their families. Using extensive case material, participants will learn about challenging ethical dilemmas; how to handle complex practice-based ethical decisions; protect clients; and prevent professional malpractice and liability. Emphasis will be on practical strategies designed to protect clients, professionals, and employers. Participants will be provided with a typology of compelling ethical dilemmas and “high risk” areas acquainted with practical decision-making strategies.
2 Ethics CEs will be offered.
NOTE: This course may not meet the Ethics requirement in your state, but may be accepted for general CE credit. Please check with your state licensing board.
