Dear Colleague:
Your NASW credential enhances your credibility as a professional and distinguishes you as a qualified provider of clinical social work services. Our records indicate that it is time to renew your Qualified Clinical Social Worker (QCSW) credential.
Please complete the attached renewal form (also available online as a PDF document or Word Document) and return it to NASW by June 30, 2007. If your credential lapses, you will no longer be able to use the prestigious QCSW credential behind your name.
The $120.00 renewal fee validates your credential for two (2) years. Renew by April 30, and pay $100, a $20 savings! This renewal fee is nonrefundable. Once your renewal application has been approved, an updated seal for your certificate will be mailed to you.
As a QCSW holder, you can register for a free basic listing on the National Social Work Finder, a $50.00 benefit which is free to renewing QCSW credential holders. As you are aware, the internet is an important tool for the public to use when searching for professional assistance. The National Social Work Finder, which now incorporates the NASW Register of Clinical Social Workers, provides multiple listing and search features. As a holder of the QCSW, you will receive priority listing. To take advantage of this benefit, please go to the provider link at http://www.helppro.com/aspdocs/nasw_landing.asp. The National Social Work Finder is highlighted on NASW’s consumer website www.helpstartshere.org and is supported by ongoing advertising to the public.
Thank you for taking advantage of these many benefits by renewing your QCSW credential. If you have any questions, please contact our Credentialing Center at (202) 408-8600 ext. 447.
Sincerely,

Elizabeth J. Clark, PhD, ACSW, MPH
