Dear Member,

Today's Day of Action is about seizing momentum as never before and saying "enough" to an administration that has run roughshod over our rights and our Constitution. I hope you'll join us in our call for law and justice.

Please call your Members of Congress now. Let your voice be heard.

Thousands of Americans from every state in the nation and over 85 partner organizations, representing millions of people, are coming together in Washington, D.C. with a loud and clear message: We demand that lawmakers hold this administration accountable for its actions over the past six years. It's time for Congress to restore habeas corpus and due process; close the Guantanamo Bay prison; end kidnapping, torture and abuse; and bring back American values and the rule of law.  If you're not here with us today in D.C., you can still participate:

>>
CALL NOW: Your phone calls will send a powerful message to your senators and representative that you demand the restoration of all our constitutional rights.

Use this link to get the phone numbers of your Members of Congress and talking points to make your calls easy and effective.

As you call, people will be meeting with Members of Congres in person throughout the day on these critical issues. Your voice will help make their in-person message even stronger.

>> WATCH LIVE: A live webcast of our Capitol Hill rally starts Tuesday (today, June 26) at 11:30 am EST/8:30 am PST.

>> READ LIVE blog updates: Our blog will have interviews with speakers and participants from today's Day of Action.
People have traveled here from every state -- some of them taking bus rides from as far away as Florida, Missouri, Minnesota, and Maine to participate. And thanks to you, the ACLU and our partner organizations will be delivering more than 250,000 petition signatures. Can you make our message even stronger by picking up the phone and calling now?

Call Congress now. Then, watch the webcast and read the blog.

Today, we're telling Congress and all of America that our Constitution is more than a piece of paper: It is fundamental to what makes America a country that has stood as a symbol for freedom and justice for the whole world. We are demanding an America that does not torture. We are demanding an America where habeas corpus is a fundamental protection for all of us. We are demanding an America where the government does not spy on and track innocent citizens. We are demanding our America back.

Now's the time to make Congress hear our demands: Call now to restore our rights!

Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Anthony D. Romero
