National Awards Call for Nominations
NASW is accepting nominations for its 2009 National Awards. The awards honor social workers and other individuals who have, through their work and/or advocacy, advanced the principles and vision of the profession.
Awards, and those who may submit nominations for them, are
- Social Worker of the Year – NASW Chapters only;
- Public Citizen of the Year – NASW Chapters, individuals and social welfare organizations;
- Public Elected Official – NASW chapters and members, individuals, and social welfare organizations;
- Lifetime Achievement Award – NASW Chapters and individuals.

The deadline for submitting a complete nomination package is April 17, 2009. Late nominations will not be accepted.
