Call for Nominations for FY 2012-13 National Elected Leadership Positions

It is time again for the important task of identifying nominees for national elected and appointed positions.  Your active participation in the nomination process is necessary to ensure a strong pool of candidates for leadership positions.  Your role is vital to the National Committee on Nominations & Leadership Identification (NCNLI) that develops the election slate and to NASW’s President who makes appointments to national units.

Vacancies for NASW national elected positions as of June 30, 2012 are:

Board of Directors positions include:

• Vice President (2012-2015)
• Treasurer (2012-2015)
• Regional Representatives (2012-2015):
1. III (New York State)
2. IV (NJ, PA)
3. VII (IN, OH, TN, WV, MS)
4. VIII (MI, WI)
5. IX (IL, IA, Int’l, KY)
• MSW student member (2012-2014)

NCNLI vacant positions include:

Please note the following information regarding nominations procedures and the deadline date.

The NCNLI collects and synthesizes information for nominees interested in elected positions.  The deadline date for receiving nominations for elected positions is no later than 5:30pm Eastern Standard Time Tuesday, November 15, 2011. The date and time must be adhered to; a postmarked date is not acceptable.
