2009 Call for Nominations - Elected National Leadership Positions |
It is time again for the important task of identifying nominees for national elected and appointed positions. Your active participation in the nomination process is necessary to ensure a strong pool of candidates for leadership positions. Your role is vital to the National Committee on Nominations & Leadership Identification (NCNLI) that develops the election slate and to NASW’s President who makes appointments to national units.
Please note the following information regarding nominations procedures and the deadline date.
Nominations must be submitted on the biographical form by accessing NASW’s website at http://www.socialworkers.org/governance/Nomination. Members may nominate themselves. Hard copies may be sent by regular mail to NASW's Governance Office.
The NCNLI collects and synthesizes information for nominees interested in elected positions. Nominations must be received by October 30, 2009. After this date, applicants can only be considered for appointed positions.
The deadline date for receiving nominations for elected positions is Friday, October 30, 2009. Nominations must be received no later than 5:30 Eastern Standard Time. The date and time must be adhered to; a postmarked date is not acceptable.
