Hope Conference Speakers

ellen minottiEllen Minotti, MSW
Director, Social Services of Cambodia

Ellen Minotti was born in the United States, but has lived in many countries throughout her life. After she established her family, she became a social worker.  In 1992, she moved to Cambodia where she has lived for 20 years, and worked for Social Services of Cambodia. 

Ms. Minotti worked for the U.S. Census Bureau, then as a junior high school Spanish teacher in Washington, DC public schools after earning her bachelor’s degree. After receiving her MSW, she worked for: Community Home Health Care in Seattle, King County Mental Health Division; Asian Counseling and Referral Service; and Social Services of Cambodia. 

In Cambodia, Ms. Minotti has influenced the development of high-quality social workers, particularly those who don’t have access to universities, and model programs that demonstrate social work values. She earned her bachelor’s degree from George Washington University and her MSW from the University of Washington.
