Tips For Teens
To Promote “A Positive Plan For Health”

TIP #1:
FAMILY IS THE KEY
Do you think that talking to your parents is “NOT COOL”? Well you are wrong; your parents believe it or not were adolescents once too. DON’T
WANT TO TALK TO MOM? What about a special aunt, cousin or sibling or someone who is like family to you?

TIP #2:
GET INVOLVED IN YOUR COMMUNITY
Sports, youth groups and volunteer work are an example of activities to be involved in.

TIP #3:
WRITE IN A JOURNAL
Do you feel some things that you think no one understands but want to
express them. Do you like to write? Do you find it easier to communicate in words?

TIP #4:
JUST SAY YES
to challenges and positive people who make you feel good, good friends, diet and exercise.
