The Jimmo v. Sebelius settlement deemed inappropriate use of an â€śimprovement standardâ€ť for Medicare coverage of occupational therapy, physical therapy, speechâ€“language pathology, and skilled nursing services. Four years after the settlement was approved, however, Medicare beneficiaries continue to face challenges in accessing these services.
