Ways to Promote Social Work Month

• Watch a program or film that features social work content.
• Write a review on a TV program or film website, or their Facebook page.
• Post a comment or submit a story line to SocialWorkersSpeak.org.
• Write a social work script.
• Contact film and TV critics about shows and films they have reviewed.  
• Read books written by social workers in your book club.
• Educate local actors, directors and producers about a social work issue.
• Include clips from the entertainment media in social work courses. 
• Host a screening for a documentary or any film. Invite the director.
• Start a project between a film school and a school of social work.
