In 2005, an estimated 744,313 men, women, and children were homeless in the United States (National Alliance to End Homelessness, 2007).[more info]

This Research Page is intended to help inform policy, practice, and education by providing information on social work research to our members, as well as to the general public.

NASW is partnering with the Institute for the Advancement of Social Work Research (IASWR) to highlight findings from research being carried out by social workers, providing new information to practitioners, and to address multiple ways that practitioners can and should influence the research enterprise.
