Presenter:
• Frederic Reamer, PhD
• Dawn Hobdy, MSW, LICSW

The social work landscape is no longer limited to traditional office- and community-based services. The advent of digital and other "distance" and remote services has redefined the nature of social work practice. Today's social workers can offer a wide range of digital and other remote services, such as online counseling, avatar and cybertherapy, video counseling, and self-guided web-based interventions. This webinar will explore social workers' use of novel and emerging technologies and the ethical dilemmas and risk management challenges that result. The presenter will make extensive use of case material and provide opportunity for audience participation.
