This webinar will focus on the critical roles social workers play in responding to the bio-psychosocial needs of women in prisons, and for women who are reentering their communities after incarceration. It will provide a statistical overview of incarcerated women, will examine the service needs of women while they are in the criminal justice system and explore current research findings that social workers should know to better serve their clients.
