This 90-minute, advanced-level training will inform private practitioners of the issues requiring closer attention as they prepare to establish, maintain, and close private practices in an ethical and professional manner. The training will go beyond the basics as we address challenging issues around the areas of boundaries/dual relationships, referrals and termination of services, mandated reporting, recordkeeping, access to records, and privacy and confidentiality. At the conclusion of the training, social workers will be equipped with useful tips and tools for meeting the highest standards of ethical practice in private practice. 1.5 Ethics CEs will be provided.
