Voter participation is a social work issue! The NASW Code of Ethics standard states: Social workers should facilitate informed participation by the public in shaping social policies and institutions.

Every year, millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline, don’t update their registration, or aren’t sure how to register.
