Social workers are uniquely qualified to assist. Ebola not only strike the individual, it impacts the well-being of the family and the community. There are numerous levels of needs that only start with medical. Social workers fill this need.

When a disaster strikes, social workers may be personally affected and need help themselves. They lose their homes, their jobs, and their practices. Some may have lost loved ones.
