NASW is introducing an affinity program for members that offers new benefits and discount opportunities. Through the program, members can sign up for the NASW Visa® Rewards Credit Card; discounted T-Mobile plans; free and discounted wireless phones and accessories; Office Depot discounts; and discounts on Constant Contact services.

Jennifer Watt, manager of NASW’s member services, said the Visa® Rewards Credit Card, offered exclusively for NASW members through Commerce Bank, can help members save an additional 20 percent on online courses at NASW’s Professional Education and Training Center. Other incentives include an introductory annual percentage rate for six months, no annual fee, and a flexible rewards program with unlimited point earnings and bonus point opportunities on qualified purchases.

“Combine the 20 percent instant credit card discount on courses with the discount NASW members already receive at the Professional Education and Training Center, and members can save 50 percent or more on online continuing education just by using their NASW Visa® Rewards Credit Card,” Watt said. “The new credit card offers attractive rates, which can be helpful for members personally and professionally.”

Watt said those in need of a new wireless phone can register for T-Mobile Advantage™ under the affinity program to receive 10 percent off service plans and 10 percent off per month on every line on the account.

“Members looking for a new phone should consider our wireless center,” Watt said. “They can get free and discounted phones and accessories, which will be better than retail prices.”

Members also will be able to save on purchases at Office Depot, and get 10 percent off email marketing services through Constant Contact.

“Constant Contact offers email templates for newsletters and announcements, tools to conduct online surveys, a learning center, an online community and other services. All are user friendly,” Watt said. “Members can use Constant Contact to create awareness of their practices and build client loyalty.”

An active NASW membership is required to be eligible for these programs and benefits. For the NASW Visa® Rewards Credit Card, members also must receive credit approval from Commerce Bank.
