- The National Child Abuse Coalition, of which NASW is a member, issued a statement opposing the actions in Texas to characterize gender-affirming care as child abuse.
- NASW signs onto the Human Rights Campaign letter along with the nation’s leading child health and welfare groups to denounce anti-LGBTQ+ bills in state legislatures

Human Rights Campaign
The Human Rights Campaign envisions a world where every member of the LGBTQ+ family has the freedom to live their truth without fear, and with equality under the law. We empower our 3 million members and supporters to mobilize against attacks on the most marginalized people in our community.
Long-Term Care Equality Index
A joint initiative of SAGE and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the Long-Term Care Equality Index (LEI) is the first national benchmarking tool for LGBTQ+ inclusion in senior housing and residential long-term care communities. The LEI includes self-assessment surveys and free tools, resources, and technical assistance that help communities adopt and enhance policies and practices that promote culturally competent and responsive care to LGBTQ+ older adults.
Modern Military Association of America
Formed through the merger of the American Military Partner Association and OutServe-SLDN, the Modern Military Association of America is the nation’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to advancing fairness and equality for the LGBTQ+ military and veteran community. Through education, advocacy, and support, we are making a real difference in the lives of LGBTQ+ service members, military spouses, veterans, family members, survivors, and caregivers.
National Center for Lesbian Rights
With a commitment to racial and economic justice and our community’s most vulnerable, NCLR is a leader at the forefront of advancing civil and human rights for LGBTQ individuals and their families through impact litigation, public policy, and public education.
Project THRIVE is a collaborative effort of many national organizations, each committed to identifying opportunities within their own sphere of influence to increase awareness about and provide resources to address the unmet needs of LGBTQ youth and to highlight best practices and success stories from their respective professional fields.
SAGE | Advocacy & Services for LGBTQ+ Elders
SAGE operates at the intersection of LGBTQ+ and aging experiences, ensuring that all LGBTQ+ older people have just and fair access to the opportunities they deserve and can live free from ageism. SAGE’s activities include national policy advocacy, the National Resource Center on LGBTQ+ Aging (created with support from the Administration for Community Living), the National LGBTQ+ Elder Housing initiative, SAGECare cultural competency training, and numerous programs on the national and local levels.
The Trevor Project is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning) young people.
