2026 Fall Virtual Forum

NASW Fall Virtual Forum November 4-45 From Insight to Impact: Hard Conversations, Honest Dialogue, Collective Action

This year’s Fall Virtual Forum—"From Insight to Impact: Hard Conversations, Honest Dialogue, Collective Action" on November 4th - November 5th, will focus on turning critical reflection into responsible practice and conversation into change. In today’s mental health and social work landscape, insight alone is no longer enough.

From Insight to Impact is a Fall Virtual Forum designed to move beyond surface-level dialogue and into meaningful engagement with the realities shaping our field. Across two days of keynotes, plenaries, and breakout sessions, participants will engage in the hard conversations that too often remain in unspoken conversations about power, bias, harm, accountability, and the sustainability of our work.

Through structured dialogue, reflective practice, and solution-oriented exchange, participants will be challenged to examine not only the systems they work within, but also their individual and collective roles in shaping them. This is a space where honesty is expected, complexity is acknowledged, and discomfort is recognized as part of professional growth.

The forum emphasizes a clear throughline: insight must lead to impact. Attendees will leave not only with deeper understanding, but with a renewed commitment to actionable change within their organizations, their practice, and the broader systems of care.
