In the first half of this workshop, the presenter briefly summarizes the trauma-informed perspective and its guiding principles. She then identifies core social work skills that embody TI practice and illustrate their application using case examples taken from a range of practice settings. In the second half of this workshop, the presenter identifies supervisory skills that reflect a TI orientation and presents case examples to illustrate their application.
