NASW alerted its members that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a proposed rule that announced and solicited public comments on the proposed policy changes for Medicare payments under the Physician Fee Schedule for calendar year 2024.
NASW’s practice team coordinated the review process, reviewed the 2,000-page document, prepared a draft response, and invited other NASW departments to participate in the process.
The result was a 23-page letter that NASW submitted to CMS last year. A practice update to the fee schedule for 2024 was not available at press time. Visit the NASW Practice page for the latest information.
