Since President Donald Trump began his second term in January, many people have experienced stress, fear, uncertainty and other emotions in response to his executive
orders and his administration’s actions.
One area of concern for social workers is the impact the mass deportations are having on immigrants. Family separations are of particular concern, as they can cause long-term emotional trauma. But just the threat of deportation is creating an atmosphere of fear and pushing many immigrants underground. Learn more in our cover story.
