Support Needed for Senior Mental Health Care Access

NASW urged its members to contact their legislators to support the Expanding Seniors Access to Mental Health Services Act (S.1797/H.R. 3808), a much-needed legislation focused on enhancing access to clinical social worker (CSW) services for Medicare beneficiaries. The bill will increase Access to CSW Services for Skilled Nursing Facility and provide access to CSW services that help Medicare beneficiaries who are diagnosed with one or more physical health conditions.
