Lauren A. Tetenbaum, LCSW, JD, PMH-C, aka "The CounseLaur," is author of the new guidebook Millennial Menopause: Preparing for Perimenopause, Menopause, and Life's Next Period. In this episode, she explores the often-overlooked intersection of mental health and menopause, discussing how millennial women can better prepare for the physical and emotional changes of perimenopause and menopause.
Our host for this episode is NASW member Elisabeth Joy LaMotte, LICSW, founder of the DC Counseling and Psychotherapy Center and author of "Overcoming Your Parents’ Divorce." She served on the Board of Advisors of her graduate school, the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice and was a member and former chair of NASW’s Private Practice Section Committee. Elisabeth is a current member of the Trustees Council of Penn Women.
