Relocation Stress Syndrome (RSS) describes a cluster of bio-psycho-social symptoms. Prevention and treatment of RSS (also called Transfer Trauma) is a clinical challenge to seniors, families, and professionals. The most effective interventions are often allied with core social work concepts and values: person-in-environment, self-determination, personal rights and responsibilities, and diversity.
