The Individual Justice Plan (IJP) process is an evidence-based individualized plan to collaboratively, pro-actively address behavioral issues of youth and adults with cognitive disabilities who may be at risk of, or who are already involved in the criminal justice system.

1-4 p.m.

Using the ASAM Criteria as a foundation, this session will help social workers' efforts to improve treatment for substance use disorder amongst the justice-involved population (individuals who have had interactions with the criminal justice system as a defendant).

Raise your capacity to engage in management, policy, community, and systems change work by networking-focused tracks with those who have organized and championed social justice initiatives!

(Re)visioning our format

In lieu of our annual fall conference, we have put together a symposium that will feature one session every month between January and April 2022, concluding with our Social Work Summit in May 2022. Symposium content will focus on (re)defining the status quo of our profession. In each session, we will unpack a pressing issue and discuss bold approaches to meet the challenges of tomorrow. We will create space for multiple truths as we challenge ourselves to unlearn, evolve, lead, and follow into the future of social work.
