This 3-part workshop series will explore the implications of racism, anti-LGBTQ+ practices and white supremacy within the social work profession.

Session 1 on March 8 will examine the historical and contemporary impact of racism and introduce strategies for dismantling systemic racism. Session 2 on March 15 will focus on challenges experienced by 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and communities offer tools to create inclusive and affirming environments. Session 3 on March 22 will explore white supremacy within the social work profession, opportunities for critical reflection and how to integrate trauma informed, anti-oppressive strategies into practice begin the process of unlearning to relearning in order to decolonize your work!
