Sean Erreger, LCSW, MSW, is a clinical case manager for children and adolescents at risk of inpatient psychiatric hospitalization and/or out of home placement. He has more than a decade of practice experience in settings that include foster care prevention, psychiatric emergency room, adolescent day treatment, and adult inpatient.

He suggests that social workers who work with teens should consider understanding the social media that their clients are using could be part of cultural competency.
