Episode 29: The Stories Behind the Salaries

Allison Peeler, MSW

Allison Peeler, LMSW, believes social workers need to drop the outdated story of "underworked and unpaid" and to redefine the way they view themselves and their earning capabilities.

She says that a new story about social workers would focus on the value of the contributions made by those in the profession, including their empathy, drive, and willingness to go above and beyond to advocate for social justice.
