PTSD Coach

PTSD Coach is an app for people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).The app provides individuals with education about PTSD, information about professional care, a self-assessment for PTSD, opportunities to find support, and tools that can help people manage the stresses of daily life. Tools range from relaxation skills and positive self-talk to anger management and other common self-help strategies.

Available in English and Spanish, the app was created by Veteran Affairs’ National Center for PTSD and Department of Defense’s National Center for Telehealth & Technology.

FOCUS: Resilience Training for Military Families

FOCUS (Families Over Coming Under Stress) provides resilience training to military children, families, and couples. It teaches practical skills to help families and couples overcome common challenges related to a military life. It helps build on strengths and teaches strategies to enhance communication and problem solving, goal setting and creating a shared family story.

FOCUS is located at designated Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force installations, and offered to all military families, including Special Operations Command, through the Department of Defense Office of Military Community & Family Policy.
