Aimee Senise Conners

Aimee Senise Conners (she/her) is an MSW student at SUNY Brockport. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Brain and Cognitive Science and Philosophy at the University of Rochester in 1998. Since then, she has been a full-time yoga teacher. She is also doing fieldwork at the University of Rochester Counseling Center, assisting undergraduate students with various issues while navigating medical school. Conners’ goal is to do clinical social work blending the somatics of yoga and meditation with evidence-based practices in treating complex trauma. She is a member of the Omicron Kappa Delta honor society. She would like to focus on advocating for social work students, especially those with barriers or who have experienced disenfranchisement due to socio-economic factors, race, or identity.
