Interdisciplinary Input It is very interesting that NASW has to urge the American Psychiatric Association (APA) to include clinical social workers to participate in the development of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, Fifth Edition (DSM-V) [April 2009]. — Heidi Sfiligoj, News Staff   On April 3, in a unanimous decision, the Iowa Supreme Court ruled that the state statute limiting civil marriage to a union between a man and a woman violates the equal protection clause of the Iowa Constitution. The case was initiated by six same-sex couples in Iowa who were denied marriage licenses by the Polk County Recorder.
