Dan Shea, MPA, LCSW, PMP
Dan Shea, MPA, LCSW, PMP is a West Point graduate and recipient of the U.S. Army General MacArthur Leadership Award with nine years of military service. He is the Director of Psychological Health (DPH) for the 131st Bomb Wing, Air National Guard, Jefferson Barracks. He has an MPA, Public Policy and Administration, Columbia University, NYC. Shea’s leadership experience includes non-profits and government at the local, state and federal level, and he is former Executive Director of a national charity.
With an MSW from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, Shea develops and provides access to support services to optimize psychological health and readiness of military members and their families. Shea develops relationships with military and community groups and collaborates with other disciplines and programs concerning family support, resiliency, suicide prevention, sexual assault, and substance abuse. Shea previously worked as a VA Readjustment Counseling Therapist for combat veterans, active duty military, Reservists, and National Guard members and their families. He served as Vice President of NASW-MO Chapter’s Board of Directors from 2014-2016 and was appointed by Mayor Sylvester James to the Health Forward Foundation.
