Ancy Lewis, LCSW

Ancy Lewis, LCSW, is the Assistant Director of Field Education at Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service. She collaborates with social service agencies throughout New York and across the country, focusing on enhancing the practicum education of MSW students as they enter the social work profession. Lewis serves on the Board of Directors for South Asian Social Work Educators’ Association to address educational topics that affect the South Asian diaspora.

Lewis obtained an MSW from New York University. With over 23 years of extensive experience, she has worked with adults, children, families, child welfare, mental health, and older adults. Through her company, Velocity Visions, Inc., she provides training and workshops locally, nationally, and internationally, covering topics such as toxic stress, leadership, communication, burnout prevention, compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, self-care, mental health, anti-racism, diversity, equity, inclusion, and emotional intelligence. Lewis’ collaborative approach engages partnerships with multiple stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
