She also works as an Independent Contractor for the Washington Office of Public Defense as a Forensic Social Worker (expert case review for Child Welfare). Ms. Smith enjoys advocating and supporting others while demonstrating knowledge, skills, and experience that strengthens social services. She participates in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committees and develops culturally relevant facilitation and trainings. Ms. Smith serves as an adjunct faculty member for Eastern Washington University School of Social Work teaching Social Work with Groups.
