The Executive Director of the New York State Chapter, Sam Fletcher, will share her experience and healing journey after an abusive long-term relationship.

Join us as a panel of Indigenous social workers from across the country describe their personal journeys to the social work profession as well as their work to honor our ancestors and to collectively uplift our people.

This panel will highlight the voices and careers of three Black male social workers, discuss the importance of representation, cover barriers that they’ve had to overcome as a black male social worker, and celebrate triumphs that they’ve seen throughout their work.
