This workshop is an interactive introduction to the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder (DSM). It provides an historical perspective, examines ethical considerations, and outlines why a knowledge of the document is important for all social workers.

The Council on Social Work Education's (CSWE) Annual Program Meeting (APM) is the place where social work education professionals collaborate, learn, teach, and grow.
