Join social workers and adjustment counselors from across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at our Annual School Social Work Conference. Every year, the NASW-MA’s School Social Work Conference Committee brings together school social workers, adjustment counselors, and other youth-focused professionals from across the state, who work with youth in all levels of schools and beyond.
We’ll revisit what makes social workers unique in their approach to helping others and touch on the essential components of bringing our social work self into our work emphasizing self-care, self-compassion, and self-awareness.
This year’s conference theme is "Social Workers—Essential and Prepared," which sheds light on the fact that Social Workers are essential to community well-being.
Please stay tuned for more information!
This year's conference will run for 3 full days. You will have the opportunity to learn, build new skills, and network with fellow social workers from around the region as you attend workshops that are timely and relevant to the field of social work.
